Chapter 139: I need help

"You can do light bondage or heavy bondage. Do you think you'd enjoy your boyfriend taking complete control of you?"

My spine shivered as I slowly nodded, getting excited just by the thought of it. We hadn't really done anything like that before, but I knew in my soul that I would enjoy Drake taking control of me as I was tied up beneath him; completely at his mercy.

She pulled down a kit and tossed it to me. I glanced down and read what was inside the package: two silk ropes, blindfold, and two wrist restraints. This would be interesting and I had a feeling Drake would know how to use these things well before I ever would.

My phone buzzed in my back pocket and I knew it was a phone call, but I didn't want to be rude to Tamara or Aunt Rose. I ignored it for now, scanning my eyes along the wall of lingerie when my phone began to buzz again. A back to back call usually meant that it was important. I pulled it out and saw Dakota's name on the screen.

"Will you two excuse me?" But neither of them were paying me much mind at the moment so I stepped into the hallway and took the call. "Dakota? Is everything okay?"

"Lynn.  ? I, um, I didn't know who else to call. Where are you?"

I pinched my brows, noticing the fear in her voice as my heart sank into my stomach. "I'm in Seattle, Dakota. What's going on?"

She sobbed lightly into the phone. "I need someone to come get me but I won't call Dominick. He'll... he'll kill Lex if I call him."

"I'm all the way across the country, Dakota, you have to call him."

"No!" She shrieked. "Please, lynn... I wouldn't ask you of this if it weren't life or death. Please, I have nobody else."

"Okay, Dakota. I'll fly home early. Where are you?"

"I'm in Orlando," she answered.

I didn't even want to know how she had gotten so far away from home, and decided not to ask her. Dakota needed my help and that's all that I saw at the moment. She didn't sound right and if she said Drake would kill Lex, I knew it was bad.

"I'll fly into Orlando and pick you up. Once I land, I'll call you. Stay by the phone, Dakota, and stay safe."

"I'm safe right now. In a hotel room paid for with cash. Lex has no idea where I am. Please just hurry."

"I will." I hung up and joined the ladies back in the sex room. Aunt Rose turned to smile at me before her face fell. "I hate to cut this short but I need to return back to the house to grab my things. Drake's sister is in trouble and I need to go to her."

"Say no more, sweetheart." Aunt Rose grabbed my hand and led me through the hallway to the front door.

But before we could leave, I turned to Tamara and gave her a hug. 'Thank you for everything and I'm so sorry I have to run."

"Call me anytime, lynn. I put my card in the bag."

She was the kindest woman I'd met in a long time and hoped we could meet up again in the future. Then alarm bells went off in my head.

"I didn't pay you!"

Tamara laughed, nodding her head at Aunt Rose. "She covered you. Safe travels."

Aunt Rose had me in her car before I could say anything else. My mind was going crazy with thoughts of what Dakota could possibly have put herself into. Was she okay? Was the baby okay? What the hell was happening? And then I thought about a plane ticket and how it was going to take me hours to get to her. Besides Drake's anger toward Lex, why couldn't she have called him?

We flew by the exit that would inevitably bring us back to Mama Bell's. "Where are you going?" I asked.

"Sounds like an emergency and we don't have time for that. I'm bringing you to the airstrip and sending you on my personal jet. You'll be there far faster than the old fashioned way."

My cheeks flushed. A personal jet? I suppose this was the life I was a part of now, wasn't it? Not something I could get used to easily, but so thankful for this shortcut.

"I'll have your belongings shipped to you," Aunt Rose mentioned before she reached over and grabbed my hand. "Everything is going to be okay. Just remember that not everything you see or read is truth."

I whipped my head toward her and studied the side of her face. What the hell did she mean by that?

"And you'll need to stick by Drake's side. A shit storm is coming that he thought he'd never have to deal with again. You're his solid ground, lynn."

She stopped the car before I looked over and saw the private jet parked on the tarmac as the crew busied themselves to get it ready.

"What does all of that mean?" I inquired.

"You'll find out soon enough, sweet girl. I'm just a phone call away if you ever need me." She pulled me in for a hug before she released me. "Go. His sister needs you right now. I'll explain everything to the family."

"Thank you, Aunt Rose, for everything." A knot formed in the back of my throat as I got out of the car and promised myself I wouldn't cry.

I climbed the small steps onto the jet and found a comfy spot, debating on whether or not I should text or call Drake. My original flight wasn't due home until late tonight, but plans had changed. I'd get to Dakota and then figure it out from there. It was crazy how a perfectly calm day could turn into a shit storm with a single phone call.
