Chapter 22: Passionate kiss

"Oh, really?" He began to really tickle me now, causing me to buck in his arms before I screamed bloody murder. When I continued to buck, I ended up on my back against the couch, Drake hovering over the top of me.
He finally stopped tickling me and was now staring intently into my eyes. Slowly, he lowered his voice to mine and I was frozen, the grin on my face slowly falling. My eyes searched his before falling to his lips. What was he doing? This wasn't part of the deal.....
His lips found mine, kissing me softly and so passionately that I felt light-headed. My arms instinctively wrapped around his neck, pulling him closer to me. Our kisses usually ended up with our tongues devouring one another's but this one was different. He slightly opened his mouth, lightly running his tongue along mine, causing my body to tremble beneath his. His mouth kissed my bottom lip before he tugged it between his teeth. The sensation sent butterflies into my stomach. No body had ever kissed me like this before. Not even Jason.
After he released my bottom lip, he passionately kissed me once more before he leaned back and pressed his forehead against mine.
My breathing was heavy and my heart was hammering in my chest. And when I looked up into his eyes, I knew this fun was going to have to end very soon. I couldn't keep up this persona of having fun for much longer and I wasn't ready for what came after the fun part. And by the looks of him, neither was he. I needed to end this before it was too late.
"I should get back to bed," I whispered.
He said nothing, continuing to stare into my eyes before he nodded and helped me up. "You're probably right." Grabbing my hand, he brought me back below the deck and toward our bedrooms.
"I will see you in the morning," I sighed out, standing in the doorway of my bedroom as I watched him stand in his.
He gave me a wink. "I'll be there."
A huge grin plastered itself on my face as I winked back. "Asshole." I teased.
Grinning back, he replied, "bitch...."
I slipped into my room and couldn't stop grinning from ear to ear. Those weren't your typical pet names for someone but they meant something to us. We started off by knocking into each other on that long flight from Seattle to being sex partners.
Yeah, this needed to end very soon. Maybe tomorrow. Perhaps the day after. Hell, I don't know, I'll figure that part out later.

When I woke up, Luis had already ditched me but not before he left me a small note on his pillow. Grabbing it, I quickly read over his words. They have croissants!! Meet you upstairs. Xx Luis.
Giggling, I slid out of bed and put my sundress back on from yesterday. I had no idea that we would be staying the night so i didn't bring anything with me. My thoughts immediately went to Drake as I wondered if he were awake too. I guess, I'll find out as soon as I leave my room.
I left our guest room and headed straight for Drake's, finding his door wide open, when I saw his bed was made and the room looked as if nobody had been in here. Instantly, I wondered if he had left completely but I knew we were still in the middle of the ocean somewhere.
Voices mumbled together from the top deck as I ascended the stairs, the sunlight burning my eyes. It seemed as if I were the only person that was still sleeping and everyone else was up here hanging out in the sun. Most of the women were in bikinis, while some of the men were in swim shorts. Is there a pool on this yacht that I haven't found yet?
"Lynn", Luis called for me as I sought him out with my gaze. He was lying back on a lounger, shoving the rest of a croissant into his mouth. I still had no idea how this guy could eat so much food and still be in shape. Lucky, jerk!
I made my way over to my best friend, throwing a quick glance around for Drake but I didn't see him. Instantly, a tightness filled my stomach with his absence. Maybe he had left the yacht after all.
"Good morning, you little beast," Luis greeted with a wink. "Your sex toy just left."
Luis confirmed what I was thinking, making me wonder how he had even left. From what I could see, we were still at sea.
Confused, I sat down in the open lounger next to Luis and stole a croissant from his plate.
"Hey!" He protested, trying to reach out and grab it back but I was faster and pulled it just out of his reach before I shoved it into my mouth. "So not cool, Lynn," Luis huffed.
"You'll survive," I replied with a mouth full of the fluffy pastry as I snickered at him.
My eyes moved over the small crowd of people on the deck with us and I didn't know a single one of them. Sure, I'd seen them from last night but I didn't know them.
"When are we heading back to the island?"
I heard Chrissy say we were heading back now. We should be back to the docks by noon." Luis set his now empty plate next to him on the floor before he sat up and grinned at me. "I woke up in the middle of the night and you weren't in bed. "Where did you go."
I felt my cheeks heat as I shifted on my lounger. "I um, was talking with Drake."
Luis snorted. "Talking," he said while quoting the word with his fingers.
I laughed, reaching over to smack his arm. "We were, believe it or not."
"Fine, if you two were just talking, what we're you talking about?"
Sighing, I stared out at the ocean, noticing that we were in fact moving along. I didn't want to tell Luis that I had seen Chrissy leaving Drake's room early this morning while I was on my way to him. I also didn't want to tell him because i knew my best friend would turn all protective over me and make a scene. Drake might be gone, but Chrissy wasn't.
