I didn't have to wait long before Scarlett came bursting out of the principal’s office, looking like she was ready to kill somebody. I probably should have waited for a best time, but I was so blinded by my own rage that I couldn't see past it.
“Hey!” I jumped up, stepping in her path.
“Not now, Loki”, She warned me, trying to sidestep me. I reach out, not taking no for an answer and pull Scarlett into an empty meeting room, locking the door behind me. Cageing her, between me and the wall.
“Yes now,” I demand, my hands flat ageist the wall on either side of her. She didn't fight me.
“What do you want?”
“Answers!” I growl back, my anger getting the better of me. “What happened this morning? Why is everyone talking about you kissing my sister?”
“Oh, for fuck sack! This has nothing to do with you!” she snarls, shoving her hands into my chest. I didn't move an inch.
“It has everything to do with me! She's my little sister Scar. And after last night... what am I supposed to be thinking?” I argue, stepping closer.
“It was two years ago. We were sixteen!” Scarlett testifies, laughing bitterly. “Storm wanted to know what it felt like to be kissed. It was a stupid one-time thing, between friends.”
“You were my sister’s first kiss?” I consider. “but there was a photo.”
“yes but, I didn't know that photo existed until now,” Scarlett chuckled bitterly. Letting her hands fall back to her sides.
“Who leaked it?” I demand, not expecting her to know. Scarlett looked away, saying nothing. Holy shit, she knew. “Well?”
“I don't know”, She lied, still not looking at me. I put my hand under her chin, forcing her to meet my gaze.
“Tell me”, I order, my voice harsh.
“No.” Gods, she was so fucking stubborn. I moved close. so close; I could almost kiss her.
“Scarlett, you better tell me right now, or I swear to god,” I warn my voice low. But Scarlett only laughed, a rebellious smile tugging at her lips.
“Or what? Will you kiss me? Bite my neck again?” She dares, her voice flirtatious “You wouldn't touch me. Not unless I wanted you too.” I growled, slamming my fist into the wall behind her. I was so angry and frustrated. She knew she had me. There was nothing I could do if she didn't tell me willingly. Which of course she wouldn't because she was so goddam stubborn. Never willing to accept anyone else's help.
“What about Asher, huh? You tell him?”
“What?! No?” She frowned, confused by the change in sibject. I should have stopped talking. I was coming across like a territorial arsehole, but I couldn't—the words falling from my lips before I could stop them.
“Are you sleeping with him?” I accuse.
“Oh my god! Why would you ask me that?” She questions, her eyes searching mine.
“Answer the dam question. Are you sleeping with Ash!?” I question, jaw clenched, eyes hard. I was so close to losing it, one word from her, and that would have been it.
“Loki Morganstar, are you.... jealous?” She laughed in disbelieve, shaking her head at me.
“I'm not fucking jealous.”
“Yes, you are! Your so fucking jealous. That's what this whole thing is about, isn't it?” She claims, poking her fingers into my chest.
“Stop spinning this on me!” I fume, grabbing her hand and pinning it above her head. “I need to know, do you want him?”
“For fuck sake, I don't have time for your problems right now”, She declares, trying and failing to realise herself from my grip. “I have to go find your sister! After what happened at break, I don't want anymore confrontation heading her way,” She clarified. Scarlett still hadn't answered my question, hadn't even tried to deny it. The realisation hitting me like a punch to the stomach. I stepped back. Scarlett straightens her clothes, grabbing her bag that had fallen to the floor and head to the door.
I didn't move. My body frozen in ice. Suffocating, and Scarlett didn't care. Like whatever the fuck had happened between us meant nothing. The door opened, but she didn't step out straight away. "Storm will always come first to me,” She admits, her voice softer than it had been a moment ago.
“Just fucking go”, I snapped back. My eyes fixed on the wall. After a minute, the door shut. I stood there for a long while after Scarlett had left. After all the anger had drained away, I felt numb and instead of facing my problems like a normal person. I did what I did best and found a distraction.
I made my way up to the Sixth form common room, ignoring my friend’s greetings and calls to join them. Like as mnasn on a mission, I walk over to some random chick. She was tall and skinny with big fuck me eyes. She would do. I rap my hasnds around her waist, tugginh her into my chest. “Hey,” I breathe, my voice husky.
“Hey”, She giggles, fluttering her eyelashes at me. I smile, my best pantie dropping smile, looking down at her lips. That was all it took. I put my hand on the back of her neck and kissed her, hard and rough. Telling her at that moment exactly what I needed. She kissed me back, opening her mouth to let my tongue enter hers. Then gasped. Her hands going into my hair, pulling me closer. I had her legs around my hips in less than a minute. Her panties wrapped around her ankles as I thrust my cock into her soaking wet pussy. Her screams Echoing off the bathroom tiltes.
(Scarlett)
Storms phone when to voice mail after the second ring. Shit. This was the fifth time I had called her, and I had left her a bunch of messages. Yet nothing. Storm was never unreachable. To say I was freaking out was a colossal understatement. I had checked her and my tutor room, the canteen, her locker and every bathroom on the first and second level. Nada. I tried to call Adam. But of course, he didn't pick up. Then Alisa. No answer. Why the fuck was the point in phone when nobody answered them! There was only one place left to look, the sixth form common room. I knew Storm wouldn't be in there, but Loki would be. Begrudgingly I needed his help with this; he was the only other person that would be able to find her.
I entered the common room and was thankful to see the photos had been removed. I made my way over to Loki's group, noting his absence quickly. Fuck sake.
“Hey, Asher”, I greet him half-heartedly. “You seen Storm or Loki?”
“No Storm. But Loki's in the bathroom,” He tells me, gesturing to the disabled. I nod, making my way over to the door. Asher jumped over the back of the sofa, stopping me in my tracks. “Hey, you do not want to go in there. Trust me!” He warns. The guys in the group were snickering. I roll my eyes.
“What?! Is he in there with someone?” I ask, crinkling up my nose in disgust. Asher didn't answer, didn't need to. I could hear the girl's moaning. I didn't let myself think about it. I wouldn't let myself be hurt that he was getting off with someone else. I was not his girlfriend and my feelings were irrelevant. What mattered was finding Storm. Despite myself, I stepped around Asher and make my way over to the bathroom. He didn't stop me this time. I was having an awful day. And it was only halfway done. It was Loki's fault anyway. I needed to find my best friend. So if that means I had to burst in on him fucking, that was precisely what I would do.
I flinging open the door wide. Unsurprisingly it wasn't locked. “What the fuck!” Shouted the girl, covering her exposed breasts.
“Shit”, Loki swore. He had been standing before her. His hand braced on the wall. Seeing me standing there, he quickly pulled out of her, stuffing his cock into his pants before zipping them back up. I felt sick. Storm. We need to find storm.
“Your little sister is missing,” I told him, forcing my face into neutrality. My voice cold and void of all emotions. “She's not picking up her phone, and I've searched everywhere for her” Once I relay the information, I turn on my heels and start walking away. A crowd had gathered and parted like the red sea as I walked on. Loki was quick to appear at my side; he didn't say anything. He didn't need to. I had seen enough.
I stepped out of the common room and started down the hallway. When we were far enough away, not to be overheard, I finally spoke. “I blame you for this. You know that, right. Whatever has happened to Storm, It’s on you,” I declare, unable to look him in the eye.
“Look, I'm sorry-” Loki started, but I cut him off by holding up my hand.
“No. We are not doing this right now. Storm is my best friend and your sister. She needs us right now,” I preach.
“Did you check the parking lot?” He asks. I shake my head. “I'll check,” jogging off before I could say anything else. I knew what I had to do. I would confront Barbie. I hadn't seen her in the common room, so I decided to check the next best place: the courtyard, smoking area.
Sure enough, there she was. Sitting at a picnic table, flanked by four of her minion's. I approached head-on. My fists clenched and u clenching at my side.
“Dyke Alert”, Barbie calls out, making her minions laugh.
“Where is Storm?” I snap, sweeping my arm across the table and sending their bags, phones, food and drinks crashing to the ground. The girls squeal, jumping to their feet.
“You bitch!” She hissed, “Probably ran home crying. I don't know. I'm not her girlfriend!”
“What did you do?”
“Nothing, it’s not my fault she's sensitives!” Cheryl complains, her voice painfully high-pitch. I didn't buy it for a second. I reached across the table, grabbing a fistful of her hair, and pulling. Squeals erupting around me as Barbie’s perfect face collides with the table. Crack. She cried out, flailing her fingers. A crowd had gathered around us. When Cheryl finally rose, blood was leaping down her face. Her nose sticking out at an odd angel, and her lip was split open.
Someone screamed, lurching themselves onto my back. Instinctively I grab the girls wrist and bend, throwing her over my shoulder. Babies minion lands with a thump; the wind knocked out of her. Another girl comes at me from the side, using her nails to claw at my arm and face. I try to grab her wrists with my hands but can’t see shit with my hair in my eyes. She gets me a few times, minor scratches and hits. I kick out, connecting with her knee, making her crash to the floor. I hold up my hands. I don't fight this girl. I only came to find out where Storm was and get Cheryl to back the fuck off.
The girl, however, had other ideas. “Bitch!” She hissed. “I'll cut you!” then she lunged. Hitting, scratching, and grabbing onto my tee, my hair. I managed to defend myself well. But soon enough, Cheryl joined in, attempting to get revenge. Fabric ripping and nails connect with the flesh of my shoulder. I shout out in pain. Managing to grab hold of the other girl's wrist and yank her toward me. My foot connecting with her stomach, while landing a good to her face. She fell down crying.
Cheryl again tryed to attack me, it was clear she had no experience fighting. Her footwork was sloppy, and her attacks predictable. I switch to offence. Moving close enough to land a punch to her chest. She screams, stepping back. I attack again, kicking out and earning a hit to her throat. She drop too the ground, desperately sucking in air.
“Little advice. Don't pick a fight with someone you are not guaranteed to win.” I advise. Walking away. I didn't bother to acknowledge the gawking crowd. The bell ranging, to signal the end of lunch. While I started the long walk back to the parking lot I finssllky notice my phone buzzing—an unknown number. I accepted the call, putting the phone to my ear.
“Hello?”
“Where the hell are you? I call you like four times!” Loki voice shouted through the speaker.
“Busy. Did you find Storm?” I ask, walking through the main school building.
“Yeah Storms here," He replied, his voice sounding revealed, “she looks fucking traumatised; and is refusing to talk to me.”
“Where was she?” I press.
“At home curled up on her bed.”
“Did you call your mum?” I questioned.
“Yeah, she's on her way but probably won’t get back till after eleven”, Loki informs me. I nod though he couldn't see me. A short silence passes between us. Before he asks, “Are you okay?”
“Fricking Fantastic,” I say sarcastically. “Look, I'm going to come over to check up on Storm.”
“Okay, I'll see you soon then. Maybe we can even have that talk?” He asks hopefully.
“I'll think about it”, I sigh.
“That's all I ask.”
“I'll see you soon. Bye,” I hang up the phone.
